Manchester being a junction point for the Minneapolis district off of the Strong City district was a busy place. Note that Nos. 51 and 52 were replaced on Sunday's with Mixed trains Nos. 55 and 56. Nos 73 and 74 operated over the entire district as Mixed trains.

The Manchester depot has found its way to the west side of Abilene, Kansas. It looks on the surface to be in pretty good shape and is reported to be, Ugggg!, an office for a septic business; not a favorite reuse topic. It is located on Van Buren between SW 3rd and 4th. One would think that it is a remodeled version of a Santa Fe standard depot. However this may be the original appearance of the structure. The Minneapolis depot appears to be of a similar identical design. The Minneapolis depot is shown on page 52 of Joe McMillian's Wheat LInes and Super Freights.
